This is an Endon 231 Antique Brass and Mahogany Effect Touch floor lamp.

Complete with touch dimmer. the "head" can be adjusted by tilting, perfect for reading or close work. There are 3 different brightnesses, simply touch the metal part of the base until the desired brightness is reached, touch for a fourth time to turn off. It has a weighted base to prevent the lamp falling over. Endon are a leading manufacture of light fittings and are of very high quality.

Halogen lighting is recommended by opticians as it puts less strain on the eyes.
